The I Ching, or Book of Changes, is the world's
oldest book and earliest known oracle. Based on binary mathematics
and the opposites of yin/yang, it has been used for over 4,000
years to gain spiritual insight and help find ways to resolve
problems. The I Ching does not predict the future,
rather it helps you to find the most auspicious path- the path
to personal happiness and well being.
The
I Ching has traditionally been consulted by means
of tossing coins or yarrow stalks and then looking up the answer
in a book. Now computers can do the hard work for us and can pinpoint
the exact lines of text that are relevant to you today. It is
one of the most astonishing oracles in the world and has been
used by many great men and woman from Confucius to the modern
psychologist Carl Jung.
The
I Ching is based on a profound Taoist understanding
of the cycles of Nature and was written by enlightened sages who
saw into the working of time and destiny. If a person is drawn
to ask the I Ching a question then some believe
that it is the call of destiny. Perhaps it was no accident that
you discovered this page!
The
I Ching, helps you to see the way ahead by arming
you with wisdom. With this wisdom you will see ways to solve your
situation and helps you to make decisions easier to live with.
It can transform stressful situations into confidence-building
opportunities. Let the I Ching guide you
and help you to discover the secret path of the soul.

How
to ask your question by Craig Hamilton-Parker
In
a moment you will type your question into the box below.
We will put the question to the I Ching and you
will be sent the answer. The clarity of your question
will determine the clarity of your answer. The I
Ching will not answer a question with a yes no answer
and will not predict. So for example suppose you want
to know about a relationship. It is no good asking the
I Ching "Will I marry Peter?" The answer
you get may be confused.
It
is better to ask something like "What is the best
course to take regarding Peter?" or you can be
more specific and ask "What wise advice can you
give me about my desire to marry Peter." The I
Ching may show you the best course and attitude
to take as well as sometimes pointing out your mistakes.
